Recipe #1: Egg White Anti-Wrinkle Mask
This is one of the easiest and quickest homemade masks for wrinkles. Egg white contain vitamin A which promotes wound healing and can reduce wrinkles. The whites work as a natural astringent that shrinks large pores and gives the skin a firmer look. They also improve collagen production in the skin to keep folds and lines away.
Ingredients: 1 egg white 1 tsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. honey | Directions: 1. Separate the white portion of the egg from its yolk and beat the whites in a bowl until frothy. 2. Add lemon juice and honey to bowl, and stir. 3. Apply to thoroughly cleaned skin using a cotton pad or fan brush. 4. Leave on skin for 15-20 minutes. 5. Rinse off with warm water. 6. Pat skin dry with towel. |
Recipe #2: Hydrating Turmeric Face Mask For Sensitive Skin
Turmeric has many health and beauty benefits. It's high in antioxidants that slow down cell damage and it can also help with inflammatory skin conditions, such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema. Some tests have shown that this ingredient in facials can reduce wrinkles as well as uneven skin tone.
In this face mask, you will add milk which is rich in B-vitamins, alpha hydroxy acids, calcium, and other potent antioxidants.
Ingredients: 1 Tblsp. Lemon Juice 3 Tblsp. Milk 1/4 Tblsp. Turmeric | Directions: 1. Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl slowly. 2. Apply the mixture to your face and leave on for 10-20 minutes. People with particularly sensitive skin may prefer the mask to left for just 10 minutes. 3. Remove with a soft, warm cloth. Caution: Turmeric will stain clothing and cloths, use old, dark cloths and clothing. |

Lemon is a wonderful ingredient to use to combat oily skin because the citric acid within lemons controls the skin's natural secretion of oil.
The addition of lactic acid-rich yogurt to this recipe is to cleanse and remove dead skin cells as well as the oil that can remain on the skin and cause of acne to form.
Yogurt contains zinc, which can help regulate oil production and works as a mild astringent. It also carries anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.
Ingredients: 2 Tblsp. of lemon juice 2 Tblsp. of natural yogurt (or Greek yogurt) | Directions: 1. Add the lemon juice to the yogurt and stir briskly until the mixture is well blended. 2. Using a cotton pad or fan brush, apply to skin and leave for 5-10 minutes. 3. Rinse off with warm water and apply an oil-free moisturizer. |
